Our purpose is to provide charitable support to the Waikato region that advances the interests of farmers, farming and rural communities – making our rural community a better place to live.
We offer funding and sponsorship to individuals, organisations and other charities within the rural Waikato community to help us support this purpose.
Funding requests can be made by completing an Individual or Organisation funding application form and forwarding to the Trust. You will need to provide financial details, referees, supporting documents, and be prepared to present your request in person if required. If successful you will also need to provide an accountability report within 3 months of receiving your donation.

Download an Individual Funding Application, Organisation Funding Application or contact us and we’ll send you an application form. Completed forms and supporting information can be submitted to us by email or post before the closing dates shown below.
The Waikato Farmers Trust sponsors Waikato based initiatives which focus on agriculture, education or supporting our local rural community. Sponsorship applications can be made by providing a contract with clear details of the sponsorship request.

Submission Closing Dates
Funding applications and sponsorship requests are considered quarterly by the Board of Trustees. Closing dates for 2019 are:

Q1 – 2 June
